Students Wear Sling Packs, But the Packs Talk to Parents All Western Oaks Middle School students this year were issued sling packs and agendas as another way the school and parents can communicate. The agendas allow students to keep track of homework assignments and important dates. Parents know they can check sling packs to find their student’s agenda and see what work teachers have assigned. The sling packs may also have practice exercises so parents can reinforce what’s being taught.
